What Does It Take to Find a Radio Station Here?

Seriously. I've never been thrilled with the radio options in "Small-bany," but lately they've been abysmal. I don't listen to the radio that much, but usually when I'm in my car driving short distances then I prefer to just listen to the radio. I've found a classic rock and a hip-hop station that are both fine for short periods. But for the life of me I can't find a decent rock, pop, alternative, top 40, whatever kind of station. The one that I used to find tolerable changed formats earlier this year to some kind of "adult mix" crap. Sometimes I'll find a good song or two there and then it'll switch to something unbearable, like Donna Summers or Shania Twain. Plus, they play the John Tesh show, which pushes me over the edge every time I hear it. His tagline is "Intelligence for Life" -- as opposed to what? I'm sorry, but it's pretty pathetic if you rely on John Tesh for your daily dose of intelligence.
